The science behind Nutrifii Optimals

Our Research and Development team published a peer-reviewed paper on the Nutrifii Optimals. Here is what the work involved, and why it matters to us.

At Partner.Co, the Nutrifii Optimals are among our best loved daily nutrition products, so our Research and Development team set out to study them properly. Rather than rely on assumptions, they designed and published a formal piece of research, the kind of work that sets a serious supplement brand apart.

The published paper

Peer-reviewed and on the record

The team published their findings in a paper titled "Improvements in Perceived Health Status among Consumers of a Vitamin and Essential Mineral Supplement Combination", in the ARC Journal of Nutrition and Growth.

Why it matters

Many of us fall short on vitamins and minerals

As the authors note in their abstract, national health surveys consistently show that many people do not get all the vitamins and minerals they need from diet alone. A daily vitamin and mineral supplement can be one simple way to help fill those gaps, as part of a balanced lifestyle.

The challenge is that not all supplements are the same, so the team wanted to understand how people actually experience the Optimals when taken consistently over time.

The study

104 people, over eight weeks

The team ran a survey of 104 participants to explore their experience of taking Optimal-V and Optimal-M together daily, across an eight week period. It is the kind of structured, real-world look that helps us keep learning about our own range and keep raising the bar on our formulations.

"We work tirelessly to evaluate and reevaluate our products so that no matter what you try from Partner.Co, you are getting the best. This study has allowed us to deepen our own understanding of how people respond to the Optimals."

Brett J. West, Senior Director of Research and Development

For us, research like this is not a marketing exercise. It is part of how we keep learning about the products we stand behind, and how we keep improving them for the people across Australia who use them every day.
